God's purpose for my life? So, what is it? by Dar Bryant

This Verse, is the cornerstone of my ministry. Because without this verse, my life would not make sense..

Romans 8:28

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. "

What it means is that God uses even the sinful past behavior we might have engaged in to prepare us to eventually fulfill His purpose in our lives. Be clear on this, God NEVER causes us to engage in sinful behavior. God did not cause me to commit hundreds of felonies.

Nor did he make me a major target of law enforcement, landing me on the most wanted list. I'm sure he was unhappy with my decisions. But, He used my past involvement to fulfill His purpose in my life. God has made that crystal clear to me over the past 3 years. What the enemy meant for evil, God will turn and use for His good.

For the past 3 years the testimony God has given me has been a source of encouragement and hope to those who are struggling with issues in their own lives. People come away believing the blessings God has given to me, He can and will give to anyone who:

1) sincerely confesses their sins to Him. 2) Accepts His Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world and the ONLY "MAN'S MAN" to ever walk the earth. A RELATIONSHIP with Jesus is the key to life on this earth and for all eternity in heaven.

Look, you don't have to clean your self up to come to the Lord. The awesome thing is, you can come to him with your addictions, anger, and all your sinful nature. A pastor friend of mine said it like this " You don't get cleaned up to take a bath". You don't have to worry about changing or giving up anything. Once you accept Christ into your life, if he wants to change you, he will. I never tried to change. He changed me, and he did it in way that before I realized it, it was already done.

I encourage all of you to do what I have done and invite Jesus into your hearts. From that point on, God will prepare you for what His purpose is in your life. And in HIS time, He will reveal His purpose to you.
